After incorporating 249 pages and over 67,000 words of changes, BACnet 2024 is finally published!

The latest edition of the standard features stronger security, easier deployment and upkeep, and improved performance. Here are just a few highlights:

• Zero-trust security for building automation networks
• Simplified onboarding and automated certificate renewal for BACnet/SC
• New technology to reduce broadcast traffic and improve performance on low-power/low-bandwidth devices
